Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler for our Home Health division. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex schedules, coordinating patient appointments, and maintaining seamless communication between clinical teams and patients. This role is vital in ensuring efficient operations, optimizing patient care delivery, and supporting revenue cycle management through precise scheduling and data entry. Responsibilities Coordinate patient appointments with clinicians, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling that aligns with patient needs and provider availability. Manage daily schedules using electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office tools to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Communicate effectively with internal teams, healthcare providers, patients, and insurance representatives to confirm appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts. Enter data accurately into EHR systems, maintaining up-to-date patient records while adhering to privacy regulations. Support insurance third-party billing processes by verifying coverage details and documenting necessary information for claims processing. Assist with internal communication regarding schedule changes, cancellations, or rescheduling to ensure smooth workflow continuity. Contribute to revenue cycle management by ensuring proper documentation of services scheduled and billed appropriately. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare administration or scheduling within a home health or medical setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of managed care processes, health insurance policies, and third-party billing procedures. Strong skills in schedule management, data entry, and maintaining electronic health records (EHR). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and written correspondence. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to home health services. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in revenue cycle management is preferred but not required. $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
