This is a hands-on, early-career role for someone interested in operations, marketing, communications, public relations, events, entrepreneurship, business development, and community-building . We are especially interested in a college senior, recent graduate, or early-career professional who has some experience supporting projects, teams, events, organizations, or administrative work and wants an opportunity to grow. The right person will be organized, tech-savvy, resourceful, comfortable interacting with people, and able to move between behind-the-scenes operations and on-the-ground community engagement. This role is designed to grow into a Community & Operations Coordinator position for the right person. What You'll Do Community & Relationship Building Research local events, organizations, businesses, universities, and community opportunities. Maintain a calendar of relevant networking and relationship-building opportunities. Attend select events, meetings, and community gatherings with Rachel or independently. Share approved Creative Flow School and Creative Flow Labs materials. Identify potential customers, partners, sponsors, vendors, and organizational relationships. Track contacts, introductions, opportunities, and follow-up. Help Creative Flow School stay informed about what is happening throughout Macon and Middle Georgia. Events, Vendors & Creative Flow Labs Research venues and event spaces. Contact venues and vendors for pricing, availability, and logistics. Help coordinate and secure spaces. Support vendor communication and event planning. Organize registrations, participant information, supplies, signage, printing, refreshments, and shipping. Support setup, check-in, participant experience, and breakdown. Maintain event timelines, checklists, and follow-up tasks. Meetings & Administrative Support Help schedule and organize meetings. Coordinate meeting logistics and prepare materials. Attend select meetings, take notes, and track action items. Conduct research and organize information. Help maintain documents, contacts, files, and project information. Coordinate local appointments, visits, vendors, and other logistics. Assist with occasional printing, shipping, pickups, drop-offs, and other operational needs. Private Customer Community Creative Flow School may offer private online communities for existing customers.
You may help:
Onboard customers into the community. Post approved reminders, resources, and announcements. Keep member information organized. Support customer communications. Encourage participation and connection. Track feedback and recurring questions. Flag issues that require Rachel's attention. Business Development Support This is not a quota-based sales position, but relationship-building is an important part of the role. You may help identify and develop opportunities with individuals, businesses, universities, nonprofit organizations, sponsors, and other potential partners. The employee will be eligible for a 5% commission on qualifying new individual or B2B business they directly originate , in addition to their hourly compensation. Experience & Qualifications This is an early-career position, but candidates should have some previous experience supporting people, projects, teams, events, customers, or organizations. Experience may come from employment, internships, freelance work, campus leadership, student organizations, entrepreneurship, or volunteer roles. Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful: Administrative or executive support Project or program coordination Event planning or event operations Marketing, communications, or public relations Community engagement Customer experience Business development or partnership support You should be comfortable: Managing multiple assignments and deadlines. Keeping track of details, follow-ups, and next steps. Communicating professionally by email, phone, video, and in person. Taking clear meeting notes and identifying action items. Conducting research and summarizing findings. Communicating with vendors and outside organizations. Working independently without constant supervision. Using good judgment and asking questions when needed. Handling customer and business information with discretion. Technology Skills Strong computer and digital skills are required. You should be comfortable using documents, spreadsheets, calendars, email, video meetings, cloud-based files, and multiple online platforms. Experience with tools such as the following is helpful: Asana or another project management platform Slack or another team communication platform Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Canva CRM or contact-management systems Email marketing platforms Online community platforms Event registration or ticketing platforms AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT You do not need experience with every platform we use. Schedule & Work Environment This is a hybrid position based in Downtown Macon, Georgia , averaging approximately 8-10 hours per week . Candidates should expect approximately 1-3 in-person touchpoints per week , depending on business needs. These may include meetings, venue visits, vendor meetings, community events, working sessions, pickups or drop-offs, or Creative Flow Labs. Remaining work may be completed remotely or independently throughout the community. Occasional evening or weekend availability will be required with advance notice. Reliable transportation and reliable access to a computer and internet connection are required.
