Job Description
Aon is seeking an Operations Specialist I in Fort Washington, PA This is a hybrid role working in our Fort Washington, PA office 2 days per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responding to client inquiries: Responsible for responding to client inquiries for new, renewal, and endorsement processes.
- Financial Transactions Responsible for creating financial transactions (automated and manual) to debit / credit policy accounts depending on the nature of the request. Some transactions may require problem solving skills to determine the correct premium or processing steps required based on the customer's request.
- System Support Once sufficiently trained, assist with user support, training of colleagues, system testing, and the implementation of process or system changes.
- Reporting Responsible for daily reporting which may require running queries or tracking production and consolidating excel data into a viewable format.
- Special projects as assigned Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, supporting process improvement and operational efficiency.
Experience needed:
- 2+ years of office or administrative work experience
- Prior Insurance industry work experience preferred
- Excellent reading comprehension and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and Teams
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and customer service focus
- Demonstrated use of sound judgment skills with solid decision-making abilities
- Ability to multi-task and independently prioritize work
- Strong Independent problem-solving skills and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
- Basic Math Skills, including accurate computation and reconciliation Preferred experience:
- Property and Casualty license preferred
- Required to obtain the P&C license within 6 months of hire date
Education:
- High School
- Some college or relevant work experience preferred For positions in San Francisco and Los Angeles, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction record in accordance with local Fair Chance ordinances.
