Provider Scheduling Coordinator-St Mary -Neurology Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - 3.3 Shreveport, LA Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Requirements specification Windows High school diploma or GED Desktop applications Data entry Typing Full Job Description This job assumes responsibility for and schedules for the department; inputs and maintains all physician and ancillary appointment schedules, develops and implements computer training programs for new and existing employees, assists in identifying and solving computer issues and problems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Required - High School diploma or equivalent Work Experience Required - 1 year related experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard. Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout required job processes. Skills in managing large transit information systems and translating scheduling requirements into system specification. Ability to travel throughout and between facilities. Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities. Job Duties Performs daily maintenance of current appointment schedules including the opening of schedules on a monthly basis and multiple daily book outs and schedule changes. Maintains the physician and ancillary master schedules. Develops and implements of computer training programs for new and existing employees. Downloads and distributes of reports and miscellaneous other duties. Assists in identifying and solving computer issues and problems specific to user IDs and print setup.
