In-Home Eldercare Trusted Choice Eldercare, LLC Location:
Keene, New Hampshire Position Type:
Hybrid — In-office and remote work
Schedule:
Part-time - 15-20 hours per week
Pay:
$25.00 per hour About Us Trusted Choice Eldercare, LLC provides dependable, compassionate in-home care to older adults throughout our community. Our clients rely on us not only for assistance, but also for consistency, familiarity, and caregivers who understand their individual routines and needs. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and relationship-focused Scheduling Coordinator to help ensure that every client receives reliable coverage from the most appropriate caregiver. About the Position This is not simply a data-entry or calendar-management position. Successful scheduling in home care requires understanding the personalities, preferences, availability, strengths, and needs of both our clients and caregivers. The Scheduling Coordinator will work closely with the company owner to learn the unique dynamics of our organization, including client care needs, caregiver capabilities, scheduling priorities, and the many moving parts involved in providing dependable in-home care. The position will include a combination of in-office and remote work. The selected candidate must be available for hands-on, in-office training while becoming familiar with our clients, caregivers, systems, and scheduling procedures. Primary Responsibilities Create, maintain, and adjust caregiver schedules based on client needs and caregiver availability Use QuickBooks Time to review schedules and assist with timekeeping accuracy Develop strong working relationships with our clients, their families, and our caregiving team Learn each client's schedule, preferences, personality, care needs, and ideal caregiver match Become familiar with each caregiver's availability, experience, strengths, limitations, and preferred assignments Work directly with the owner to understand the company's scheduling priorities and day-to-day operations Communicate schedule changes clearly and promptly to clients and caregivers Respond professionally when call-outs, cancellations, or unexpected coverage needs arise Help locate replacement coverage and minimize disruptions to client care Confirm shifts and follow up on scheduling issues as needed Maintain accurate scheduling and employee information Identify potential scheduling gaps or conflicts before they become emergencies Protect client and employee confidentiality Provide consistent, respectful, and professional communication Assist with other administrative and coordination responsibilities as needed Required Qualifications Previous experience using QuickBooks Time Previous scheduling, staffing, administrative, healthcare, or home-care experience Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to remain calm and solution-focused when schedules change unexpectedly Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to learn the individual needs and personalities of clients and caregivers Comfortable working closely with the company owner during training and ongoing operations Ability to work independently from home while remaining responsive and accountable Reliable internet access and a suitable remote-work environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately Dependable transportation for required in-office work Preferred Qualifications Previous scheduling experience in home care, healthcare, senior services, or another staffing-based business Experience coordinating multiple employees across different client locations Knowledge of the challenges involved in matching caregivers with clients Experience handling call-outs and arranging last-minute coverage Familiarity with basic payroll or timekeeping procedures The Right Person for This Role The ideal candidate is someone who understands that home-care scheduling is about people—not just filling open shifts. You should be comfortable getting to know our caregivers and clients, remembering important details, anticipating problems, and making thoughtful scheduling decisions. You must be dependable, discreet, patient, and able to communicate with kindness while still setting clear expectations. Because client care can change quickly, you should also be flexible and able to manage occasional stressful situations without becoming overwhelmed.
