Job Description

We are seeking an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Property Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of our team and the multifamily properties we manage. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, staying organized, paying attention to detail, and being part of a collaborative team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Operations Directly support the Property Managers with daily operations activities. Collaborate with the Multifamily Director of Operations and team to support performance and financial health goals. Provide various on-site support at the properties we manage. Coordinate move-ins and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Assist with unit turnover coordination. Maintain accurate resident and property records. Administrative Responsibilities Review all monthly property/unit utility bills and process tenant owed amounts. Ordering property and office supplies. Prepare and send reports. Ensure all residents meet the properties insurance requirements. Process incoming renters' insurance documents from residents and update tenant information as needed. Assist with delinquency follow-up and required notices. Leasing & Resident Relations Respond promptly and professionally to prospects via phone, text, or email, providing quality candidates for further follow up. Schedule and assist with on-site tours as necessary. Review applications for accuracy and completeness and updating as necessary. Assist with resident retention initiatives. Sending mass communications. Overall Demonstrate accountability and cross-team collaboration while delivering results. Become proficient in property management software, systems, and processes. Completing required training and ongoing professional development. Build trust through integrity and strengthen HME Properties' management reputation. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Multifamily housing experience, operations, property management, or leasing experience a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar software Ability to learn, and become proficient with, our property management software
WORK SCHEDULE
Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; must be willing and able to work extended hours as needed, including weekends. Brookings based. Travelling to properties we manage as necessary.
