Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team. In this essential role, you will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of our manufacturing operations. Your proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail will help maintain accurate documentation, streamline processes, and facilitate effective communication across departments. Key Responsibilities Production Support Assist with daily production planning and scheduling activities. Update and maintain production records, reports, and work orders. Assist with SOP and product blue book creation. And maintain and update documents. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase communication, and visibility between production lines and shifts. Quality Assurance Support Maintain quality control documentation and records. Support audit preparation, SOP creation, and documents database. Issue customer quality documents (COAs, DoCs, etc). Support external lab testing, internal audits, and measurement tools calibration/maintenance. Maintain and update quality data, such as after-market complaints. Retrieve and update technical information on QC sheets. Logistics & Inventory Coordination Prepare shipping documentation and track deliveries. Organize sample shipments. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and audits. Communicate with suppliers and carriers regarding shipment schedules and delivery issues. Administrative Support Process purchase orders, and other administrative documents. Assist with data entry and maintaining ERP system records. Support document control and record retention requirements. Lead non-inventory purchasing needs for all departments to ensure plants remain fully stocked.
