Job Overview The Operation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth operation of our day to day operations. This position acts as the liaison between our carrier partners and our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, brokerage experience, and be able to make timely decisions in a fast paced industry. Duties Work closely with customers to ensure their service expectations are met. Identify carrier relationships that fit well in our network of lanes. Communicate closely with carriers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure a smooth day to day operation. Identify opportunities for operational improvement that will enhance the customer experience. Skills Understanding of freight operations, including 3PL (third-party logistics) Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaboration between customers, carriers and employees.
