Contractor may be authorized for business travel by the Technical Representative. Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations. Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools. Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects, and life-cycle schedules. The purpose of this position is to deliver a timely, coherent, comprehensive, and accurate set of schedules for assigned projects.Principal Accountabilities:
The project manager manages capital project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work as assigned, providing oversight of staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring to ensure work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget. This includes all aspects of project implementation including: Budget management Work package preparation Parts procurement ALARA planning Industrial and nuclear safety Clearance order preparation Work prioritization Resource loading Risk management Work execution, including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts Additional responsibilities include: Develop budgets and track cost versus budget for assigned projects Ensure proper progress and focus through frequent interface with stakeholders, engineers, related parties, and management Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors Develop project schedules aligned with project complexity and size to manage risk, track progress, enforce accountability, and manage critical path and float Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management Develop and maintain long-range planning strategies associated with assigned projects Support effective implementation of internal self-assessment and corrective action programsSkills & Experience:
Strong understanding of core values related to human performance and cost-effective work executionRequired Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum AND two years of experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years of experience in a technical field RAM#Job Type:
