Patient Scheduler - Heart Center Swedish Health Services - 3.7 Seattle, WA Job Details Full-time $30.30 - $45.57 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid parental leave Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Opportunities for advancement Life insurance Qualifications Medical office experience Medical scheduling Schedule creation Medical terminology Full Job Description Description This position is responsible for scheduling inpatient and outpatient procedures in the Heart Center Diagnostic Service areas, specifically for the Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Electrophysiology lab, ECHO lab, Vascular and ECG lab. The procedures are ordered from physicians and their offices. This position also schedules patient appointments for the Cardiology Outreach sites, including cardiologist's consultation appointments and procedures that are performed at the outside clinic locations. Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training:
Completion of a medical terminology course 2 years of general and specialized office duties Prior hospital or clinic experience 1 year of Cardiac and/or Vascular scheduling experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Community college/vocational education, specializing in either medical assistant and/or office and secretarial subjects such as English, typing, word processing, computer skills, office machines. 1 year of Diagenetic Imaging scheduling experience 1 year of experience with EPIC- Hospital Computer Information System Why Join Providence Swedish?
