Full Job Description Title:
Agricultural Spray Drone Apprentice/Visual Observer (VO)
Location:
Amity, OR and surrounding areas
Position Overview :
This position will require the candidate to assist the Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) of ArgenTech Solutions (AgTS) Agricultural Spray Division with various duties at customer sites. Duties include site setup and teardown, site surveying, assisting with drone battery management, filling of spray drone with product, assisting the RPIC in maintaining visual line of site of the drone, fuel pumps and generators, and other duties as required.
Essential Job Functions:
Drone battery management Chemical mixing and dispensing
Visual Observer:
monitor airspace and always keep eyes on the drone.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
General safety awareness Able to follow instructions and directions Ability to read labels and understand wording Must be proficient in basic math Be reliable. Must be on time and flexible with work hours. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to report hazards
Education:
Ability to obtain an Oregon Pesticide Apprentice certificate FAA Part 107 desirable. High School diploma or equivalent desired
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry 80 lbs unassisted for short distances. Ability to squat and work in small, cramped spaces. Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders and ramps while carrying up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend and/or twist legs, arms and body within normal range of motion. Ability to stand and walk without rest for at least 3 hours. Ability to perform required duties outdoors in conditions that may include extreme high and low temperatures, rain, snow and high winds. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
