This is a Temp to Hire Project Coordinator position that offers full-time hours, with career advancement opportunities. Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit, Affordable Health Care, Full-Time, Career Advancement Opportunities This individual will be responsible for coordinating many aspects of a project, from initial setup of the project/project schedule, coordinating material sample submittals, understanding material lead times and fabrication durations, and overlaying that information with the contractor's construction schedule. The Project Coordinator works directly under the supervision of a project manager, collaborating to maintain the overall project schedule from submittals through fabrication, delivery, and installation. Essential Functions
- Initial setup of project with regards to schedule, materials, fabrication, and required lead times of each.
- Overlay manufacturing schedule with construction schedule, ensuring that material and fabrication durations coincide with the general construction schedule.
- Maintain the project schedule throughout the duration of the project, adjusting as needed based on site conditions and milestones.
- Coordinate end dates with project manager so communication can be maintained with the general contractor.
- Coordinate purchasing of project materials, hardware and buyout parts with the Scheduling/Purchasing assistant. Gather material ETA's and ensure they meet the project schedule.
- Collaborate with Project Manager and site supervisor to ensure that all dates are tracking, and communicate when/if items are not.
- Contribute to project closeout activities, including organizing documentation, maintenance and warranty records, resolving deficiencies, and coordinating warranty work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with co-workers, suppliers and contractors in an accurate and professional manner.
- Able to develop a detailed project schedule.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to handle internal and external customers with tact and patience.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
- Ability to use general Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Bluebeam, and various other software.
