This is not a sit-behind-a-desk position. The Administrative & Operations Coordinator combines administrative work, inventory and ordering, production coordination, customer service, receiving and stocking, and hands-on support wherever the day requires it. What You Will Do Maintain files, records, and routine computer-based information. Monitor product and supply levels and help keep in-stock/out-of-stock information accurate. Assist with planning and preparing production sheets so the bakery team knows what needs to be made. Place supply and product orders and follow up when needed. Assist customers and step into the storefront when customer volume requires additional help. Help keep work, storage, and customer-support areas organized and ready for the next task. Communicate clearly with the owner and team so information moves between the storefront, production, inventory, and ordering. The Pace of This Role The pace is steady, active, and constantly shifting. You must be comfortable being interrupted, deciding what needs attention first, handling it, and then returning to the original task without losing track of details. Changing priorities does not mean leaving things unfinished. What We Are Looking For Self-motivated and able to work independently without waiting to be told every next step. Excellent communicator. Communication is one of the most important parts of this position. Comfortable working with many different personalities and communication styles. Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow through from start to finish. Comfortable using computers and learning the systems used by the bakery.
