Job Description
Summary Coordinates the pre-award planning, organization, and preparation, and the post-award administration of various grants assigned to one or more research and/or clinical departments. Interacts with investigators and administrative staff to ensure that grants are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements. Provides guidance and support to investigators in the identification and development of grant opportunities. Primary Responsibilities Assists administrative staff and research team in the creation, negotiation, and administration of grants, contracts, and research proposals. Assists with pre-award applications. Coordinates the grant process from development and submission to the post-award stage. Ensures compliance with sponsor terms, MCW policies/procedures, and federal regulations. Identifies funding sources and administers grant budgets. May consolidate sources of information to ensure application document requirements are complete. Ensures compliance with grant guidelines, budgets, and stipulations. Minimum Required Education:
Bachelor's degreeMinimum Required Experience:
4 years of experience Physical Requirements Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required.
