Basic math, reading, and written communication skills. Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures, work instructions, shipping documents, and company policies. Familiarity with computer systems and warehouse software preferred. Experience Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or logistics environment required. Forklift experience required; certification preferred (training/certification assistance available). Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems such as Syspro preferred. Strong organizational, problem-solving, recordkeeping, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Physical Capabilities Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance and up to 100 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse tasks for extended periods. Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts. Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence. Job Duties Process shipping orders, print shipping documents, pallet labels, and Bills of Lading. Coordinate truck appointments and communicate loading instructions to warehouse personnel. Verify load accuracy, review shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Receive inventory and non-stock materials into Syspro and maintain accurate inventory records. Prepare daily shipping logs and supporting documentation for reporting purposes. Support inbound and outbound logistics operations, inventory management, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
