Description Material Coordinator (1st Shift)

East Hartford Operations Position Details:

1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Your Expertise:

3+ years' experience in an aerospace production environment

Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task

Ability to problem solve and make decisions based on data and instruction

Ability to interpret travelers and work instructions

Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), ERP systems (Syteline 10)

Your Challenge:

Perform Shipping and Receiving functions which includes: Finished good, semi-finished goods, raw material & details, consumable tooling, etc.

Maintain and organize material storage areas on a daily basis. Coordinate with operations in moving parts/material, expediting job orders around the facility.

Operate forklift or hand truck to move, convey or hoist materials, or product Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy. Reject damaged items, record shortages, and other conditions

Access and maintain customer portals to manage shipping requirements, delivery updates, shipment confirmations, and related documentation.

Order and maintain inventory of shipping supplies, including packaging materials, labels, containers, and related consumables.

Verify packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements are met in accordance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
