Job Description

Position Summary:
Engages in all Shipping & Receiving, Material Handling and Quality Control operations. Responsibilities Receiving Processes job, picking lists, bills of lading, and other like forms to ensure proper fulfillment Package, weigh, and size finished components for shipment Loads and unloads deliveries in a timely manner Ensures appropriate documents are received and correct for all receivables in accordance with company policy Processes receivables against printed purchase orders General Reviews own work for accuracy Displays a positive attitude Performs all other duties as directed by Management Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly • Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment • Performs all other duties as directed by Management Competencies & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Thorough knowledge of precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface plate, etc. Fluent with MS Excel, MS Word, and MRP/ERP software Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and seek out new skills Ability to read and interpret prints and BOMs Extremely organized, acute attention to detail, and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Ability to safely operate (or learn to operate) a forklift and pallet jack while moving materials around the shop Ability to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly and remain on feet for long periods of time Ability to adapt to the work environment, deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events, while promoting a positive outlook Self-motivated, able to work independently and within tight deadlines Required to wear PPE equipment at all times while on production floor Extremely dependable; consistently at work and on time (notifies if late or absent prior to being late of absent), follows instruction, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance Excellent team member; driven to contribute to the team effort Good communication skills, both written and verbal Continuously seeking and implementing methods to increase product quality, customer service and company efficiency Displays a positive attitude Ambitious, outgoing, loyal, dynamic. Willingness to learn and seek out new skills Respect for the Company's resources; treat company equipment, funds, time and co-workers with respect
