Job Description

Job Overview Head Aero is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving professional to support the movement, documentation, and tracking of parts, materials, and shipments. This position plays an important role in ensuring incoming and outgoing items are handled accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced aviation environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Receive incoming parts, materials, supplies, and customer shipments. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and supporting documentation. Check packages and materials for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report concerns promptly. Accurately identify, label, organize, and route received items. Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation. Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other transportation providers as required. Enter and maintain accurate shipping and receiving information in company systems. Maintain organized records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Assist with inventory counts and proper storage of materials and parts. Communicate with internal departments, customers, vendors, and carriers regarding shipments when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area. Follow established company procedures for the handling and protection of aviation parts and materials. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred. Aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO experience is a plus. Experience with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping systems preferred. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to accurately read and process shipping documentation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials consistent with the physical requirements of the position. Communication Requirement English proficiency is required. Candidates must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English to process shipping documentation and communicate professionally with customers, vendors, carriers, and business partners, including international contacts.
