The ideal candidate will have a strong background in receiving within a factory setting, with an emphasis on precision and efficiency. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection :

Unpacks and inspects incoming shipments; reports damages or shortages to Warehouse Manager.

Material Handling :

Uses lift truck or hand cart to move materials; pulls parts for orders.

Transportation :

Serves as back-up company truck driver for inter-plant deliveries.

Inventory & ERP :

Records all material transactions in Visual ERP; conducts cycle counts; ensures inventory accuracy.

Production Support :

Ensures raw materials are available for production; calculates material usage. Metal Cutting (Back-Up) : Uses brake press to cut metal as per drawings and order specs; delivers cut pieces to production. Shipping (Back-Up) : Assembles products, packages, and prepares shipping documents.

Equipment Checks :

Inspects warehouse equipment before use; reports maintenance needs.

Quality Control :

Reviews work orders and drawings; inspects materials and finished goods for quality issues.

Documentation :

Logs work times and material usage.

Work Schedule Compliance :

Follows designated shift schedule, break times, and seeks approval before leaving work area.

Housekeeping :

Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Cross-Training :

Learns other roles in the department as needed.

Safety & Policies :

Adheres to all safety rules and company policies.

Other Duties :
