Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments, ensuring seamless integration into our inventory management system. Your proactive approach will support efficient warehouse operations, facilitate order fulfillment, and uphold trade compliance standards. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and shipping documents Accurately enter data into warehouse management systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software such as AS400 or similar platforms Prepare items for storage by labeling, stocking, and organizing inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers as needed Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to coordinate the load & unload process efficiently and safely Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade policies during receipt and storage procedures Maintain detailed records of inbound shipments, discrepancies, damages, and inventory updates Support order picking, packing, and inventory management activities to facilitate timely order fulfillment Experience Previous warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, distribution processes, and inventory management software Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office applications, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms Hands-on experience with shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and stock control in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and data entry tasks Valid certification for forklift operation or experience with forklift, pallet jack, and order picker equipment preferred Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with familiarity with international trade regulations is a plus Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and external partners Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse distribution!
