Job Description

WE'RE EXPANDING!

The Shipping & Material Handling Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing orders, as well as supporting material movement to ensure on-time delivery and accurate order fulfillment. This role also serves as a primary backup to the Production Material Handling position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Pull, stage, and prepare parts for shipment Package products according to company standards and written procedures Prepare trucks for daily deliveries and shipments Load and unload materials as needed Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely Drive a 25' box truck for deliveries and pickups as required Process shipments using UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager Assist in setting up and coordinating LTL shipments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred) Valid driver's license required; ability to operate a 25' box truck Valid DOT medical card (health card) preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Ability to read and interpret work instructions and documentation Intermediate computer skills (shipping software, ERP systems preferred) Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended period
