Shipping & Receiving Associate Midwest Staffing Group is currently hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a growing team in Shakopee, MN . This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong organizational skills and shipping, receiving, and inventory experience.

In Person Job Responsibilities Review sales orders, pick lists, and work tickets to determine material requirements Pick, package, and prepare orders for shipment Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and commercial invoices Determine appropriate shipping methods based on procedures, routes, and rates Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against invoices, bills of lading, and other documentation Enter and maintain shipping and receiving information using a computer Unpack, label, and stock materials in designated locations Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies Assist with inventory counts and material replenishment Maintain warehouse, tools, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and safe condition Keep records related to the use and maintenance of material-handling equipment Assist with assembly tasks as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 2-5 years of shipping, receiving, and/or materials management experience preferred Valid forklift/lift truck certification required Strong computer skills required Experience with ERP systems preferred Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, reaching, lifting, and moving materials. Employees may occasionally work around forklifts, machinery, mechanical parts, and power tools.
