Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you'll be the vital link ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. The role of the Shipping and Receiving (S&R) Clerk is to assist in the oversight, organization, and implementation of all warehouse functions for the company. These responsibilities include, but not limited to; performs inventory and logistics coordination for incoming and outgoing company assets as well as movement of product and supplies within a warehouse facility. Duties Assist in coordination of outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Coordinates movement of product from shipping platform. Notifies appropriate personnel when trucks have arrived and coordinates priority loading of trucks. Assists with preparing shipping and receiving status reports. Verify shipments for accuracy and document discrepancies. Ensure strict adherence to all USDA regulatory guidelines. Schedules forklift fleet and schedule preventative maintenance checks. Identify continuous improvement opportunities. Perform additional duties as assigned. Experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Multi-task, be highly organized, with excellent time management skills. Work independently and as a member of a team. Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint). Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
