$16.50-$17/hour Position Summary The Shipping Clerk plays a key role in ensuring efficient handling of outgoing shipments, supporting shipping operations with accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Process and prepare customer orders for shipment Verify order accuracy, quantities, and shipping information Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documents Coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight companies Schedule pickups and deliveries with transportation providers Maintain accurate shipping records and update ERP/WMS systems Track shipments and provide status updates to customers or internal teams Ensure all shipments meet company and carrier requirements Inspect packages to confirm proper labeling and packaging standards Communicate with warehouse, production, customer service, and purchasing teams regarding order status Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damaged shipment issues Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies Maintain a clean and organized shipping area Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic math skills. Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $16.50 - $17.00
