Receiving Associate Job Summary:
The Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments to ensure materials are accurate, undamaged, and properly documented. This role supports inventory accuracy and timely material availability for production.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents. Record receipts in the ERP/inventory management system. Label, organize, and route materials to appropriate storage or production areas. Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area. Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred. Basic computer and inventory system knowledge. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Forklift certification is a plus.
