For 30 years Leymaster Tile has distributed underground pipe and drainage products to contractors, landscapers and homeowners. We are hiring a CDL Truck Driver to operate vehicles with at least a 26,000 pound Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) capability. Our routes are typically local—within about an hour of the Cedar Valley—so drivers complete their shifts and are home with family each night. We seek dependable, safety-focused individuals who take pride in efficient deliveries and professional customer interactions. The role centers on delivering drainage tile and related materials to job sites and customers, staging product in the yard and supporting inventory activities. Familiarity with skid loader operation is a plus because it speeds yard work and some delivery operations, though training can be provided for motivated candidates. Much of the work is performed independently, so this role suits someone who can manage time well, follow directions and take responsibility for completing assignments without close supervision.

Responsibilities:

Operate commercial truck and trailer safely, following company safety practices and DOT regulations Safely load and unload freight using a forklift and other material-handling equipment Keep precise records of deliveries, activity logs and required documentation Inspect the vehicle before and after routes and report any safety or maintenance concerns Provide courteous, clear communication with customers at delivery locations Participate as a cooperative team member and adapt to changing priorities Help maintain exterior yard organization and support inventory control processes

Qualifications:

Previous driving or materials-handling experience preferred Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, but candidates without a CDL who demonstrate the right skills and attitude will be considered Capable of performing physical work, including lifting and operating equipment Committed to punctuality, reliability and a strong work ethic Responsible, accountable and able to work independently with minimal supervision If you are looking for a local driving position where safety, consistency and customer service matter, Leymaster Tile could be a great fit.
