Brown Tile & Stone is an established tile, stone and flooring contractor servicing the Carolinas for over four decades. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Charlotte team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure an organized, efficient, and safe work environment. Manage the receiving, storage, organization, and distribution of materials and products. Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time. Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct routine inventory counts. Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible. Supervise, train, schedule, and provide direction to warehouse employees. Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and performance. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization. Enforce company safety procedures and ensure employees follow proper material-handling practices. Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and shipping or receiving issues. Communicate with purchasing, sales, project managers, installers, and other departments regarding material needs and delivery schedules. Coordinate job-site material staging, pickups, and deliveries. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and inventory control. Maintain appropriate warehouse documentation and records. Ensure company vehicles, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment are used properly and maintained appropriately. Assist with hiring, training, performance management, and accountability of warehouse personnel. Perform other warehouse and operational duties as needed. Bilingual skills are a plus.
