Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the organization, control, and accuracy of stock levels to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Implement inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock rotation (FIFO), and stock reconciliations.
• Coordinate with production and procurement to ensure timely replenishment of ingredients and supplies.

Warehouse Operations:

• Direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and efficient workflows.
• Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems to enhance visibility and traceability of food products.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse team members, including warehouse supervisors, forklift drivers, and drivers.
• Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.

Logistics Coordination:

• Collaborate with the production, quality, and distribution departments to align warehouse activities with production schedules and customer demands.
• Coordinate all driver routes ensuring efficiency and on-time deliveries.
• Optimize logistics planning for inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.

Food Safety & Quality Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, FDA, GMP, etc.) and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Oversee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including temperature control and pest control measures.
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits, including corrective actions and continuous improvements.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Manage warehouse budget and control operational costs by optimizing resources, minimizing waste, and reducing overtime.
• Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for savings without compromising quality or service.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Management:

• Implement health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and employee training to maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
