Job Description
Core responsibilities include:
Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, ensuring products are available when needed. Organizing and updating inventory records using spreadsheets or inventory management software. Conducting physical counts and cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies between actual stock and records. Coordinating with vendors and internal teams to manage orders, deliveries, and storage. Analyzing inventory data to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and identify trends. Implementing inventory control procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce losses. Investigating discrepancies, damages, or theft and taking corrective actions. Preparing reports on inventory status, adjustments, and operational performance. Training staff on inventory procedures and software usage when applicable.Similar remote jobs
