Develop, refine, and execute sourcing strategies for Tier 3 components to achieve cost, supply continuity, quality, and capacity objectives. Identify and mitigate supply continuity risks while establishing effective escalation and governance processes across the supplier base. Partner with suppliers to improve planning processes, operational execution, and supply chain performance. Onboard new suppliers and commodities into Microsoft supply chain systems and processes, ensuring compliance with established operational, quality, and business requirements. Partner with Supply Chain and Capacity Planning teams to manage product transitions, minimize excess and obsolete inventory, and ensure successful ramp-up of new platforms. Establish material allocation strategies during supply constraints by balancing production, service, and spare-part requirements. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 2+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR equivalent experience.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or semiconductor operations. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, drive alignment, and deliver results in complex business environments. Experience partnering with engineering, operations, and supplier teams to develop sourcing strategies and drive business outcomes. Proven track record leading supplier negotiations, managing strategic supplier relationships, and delivering cost, quality, and supply continuity improvements. Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles. OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles.   • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100
  • $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800
  • $219,200 per year.
