The Ford Supply Chain team is central to our ability to build great vehicles. As the Supply Chain Manager for Fasteners & Exterior Commodities you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation by leading commercial negotiations, managing critical supplier relationships, and optimizing costs. You will be an integral part of Ford's Global Supply Chain organization, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that the right supply partner is chosen to deliver the best product on the right vehicle, at the right price with outstanding quality and on-time performance. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and exceptional negotiation, written and verbal skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced and collaborative environment. This role focuses on managing a team of buyers who purchase Fasteners and some other steel exterior components The role has a high-level of interaction with Product Development, Manufacturing, Supplier Technical Assistance, and MP&L at all levels.
