Job Description

Overview Momentum Aeronautics is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to join our supply chain and inventory management team. This role is vital for maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing stock control, logistics, and supporting overal operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with warehouse management systems in a highly regulated industry, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes including sourcing and purchasing . This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency within a dynamic environment. Duties Monitor and manage inventory levels using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Odoo ERP system data. Continually ensure part tracability integrity per Momentum Quality System and FAA requirements. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and data collection to ensure inventory accuracy. Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, root causes of stock variances, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing team members to optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage supplier relationships. Support demand planning, forecasting, and replenishment activities. Coordinate with logistics providers for shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling. Assist in inventory control initiatives to improve stocking efficiency. Perform financial analysis related to pricing models and procurement. Handle heavy lifting 50-70 lbs solo and upto 100 lbs with co-worker as needed for materials handling tasks within warehouse operations. Support production planning activities by providing accurate inventory data for manufacturing needs. Skills Experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, and logistics operations in a highly regulated industry i.e. medical, aerospace. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems (including Odoo), and data analytics tools. Data analysis skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis, financial modeling, demand planning, and supply chain analytics. Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier management. Familiarity with category management, materials management, and production planning. Ability to utilize data visualization techniques for reporting insights effectively. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, materials handling (including heavy lifting), and inventory control best practices. Excellent analytical skills combined with a strategic mindset for process improvement initiatives. Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments. This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while supporting strategic supply chain initiatives that drive business success. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of inventory management principles combined with advanced data analysis capabilities to optimize overall performance.
