Join our team specializing in buying and selling media and electronics. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in processing inventory, ensuring purchased items are priced, organized, and ready for display on the sales floor. This dynamic role values autonomy, efficiency, and initiative, making it ideal for those who excel in managing tasks independently. The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets customer needs. This role includes organizing and maintaining back-stage inventory, ensuring product availability on the sales floor, and optimizing inventory levels to align with purchasing trends. Additionally, the Inventory Manager will conduct routine inventory counts, monitor stock accuracy, and implement strategies to minimize inventory shrinkage caused by internal and external factors.
Responsibilities:
Leading Shifts Controlling inventory levels & organization Controlling aged/stale inventory Loss prevention (internal & external) Ensuring inventory accuracy Minimizing the impact that defectives have on bottom line
Manages & Determines Floor Set Requirements:
Prior retail or related field experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills Strong merchandising skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Able to safely lift 50lbs without assistance
