A Day in the Life This position is responsible for analyzing and developing initiatives that support the growth of L'Oréal Consumer Products Division retailers. You will continuously monitor the marketplace for opportunities, perform assessments, make recommendations, and define strategies. You will ensure initiatives and strategies are properly executed by coordinating the priorities and activities of the cross-functional teams involved. You will have a demonstrated ability to communicate both internally and externally at the account to affect change at all levels of the Customer Supply Chain Organization and be seen as a critical partner for the Commercial team.
Analyze & Retrieve:
Retrieve, analyze, and provide documentation for individual accounts to support recommendations regarding service, growth opportunities, and vendor/retailer performance.
Liaison:
Act as a liaison between the field commercial team, finance, Supply Chain, and our retailers.
Forecasting Support:
Provide forecasting support to commercial and internal partners to ensure the right alignment of shipments and consumption using quantitative and qualitative data.
Strategy Development:
Develop customized strategies providing high customer service levels and reduced cost.
Flow Optimization:
Ensure the efficient flow of product from supplier to customers, clear communication of gaps/misses, and planning remediation.
Reporting:
Publish reports accordingly, to ensure initiatives and executions are progressing to plan.
Project Leadership:
Lead or participate in specific projects which provide efficiencies, improved service, and business growth.
Partnership Building:
Develop strong business partnerships with Sales, Demand Planning, Category Management, and our Customer.
We Are Looking For Education:
BA/BS degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain.
Professional Experience:
Highly experienced in Supply Chain.
Technical Skills:
High level of problem-solving and analytical skills. High proficiency in data management skills—advanced focus in Excel, PowerPoint, and relational databases. SAP system experience is preferred.
Communication:
Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and externally.
Leadership:
Strong leadership skills to fully engage Customer Supply Chain team members. Base Salary Range:
