Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Parts Manager is the bridge between the internal service and supply chain teams. The role is responsible for overseeing our service parts inventory, ensuring efficient operation and optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-facility warehouse management.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and implement SOPs and KPIs relating to service parts Monitor stock levels and partner with branches to order parts as needed Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize turns Manage cycle counting process to ensure accuracy and compliance Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service Develop best practices to promote efficiencies Champion a new Enterprise Resource Planning tool (Odoo) Establish inventory stock levels including ROP/ROQ and safety stock Create and analyze forecasts for parts consumption Prepare presentations for management Collaborate with internal departments to ensure on-time parts delivery Train service department's staff across 19 company locations on inventory control procedures
Qualifications:
Experience as a Parts Manager Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or equivalent experience Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
