Fagerberg Produce is a family-owned business based in Eaton, CO, that prides itself on delivering fresh, high-quality onions to our customers. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Transportation Manager to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery of our products, as well as maintaining positive relationships with our current trucking partners and customers.

Job Responsibilities :

Coordinate with existing trucking companies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders. Monitor shipments to ensure that products are delivered to the correct destination on schedule and at the best price. Check truck drivers in upon arrival to pick up or drop off product. Sign out truck drivers once they are loaded and ready to depart. Maintain clear communication with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and office staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements :

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must have a welcoming and friendly personality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
