Assistant Fleet Manager

Job Summary Bold Move Logistics is looking for a reliable, hands-on Part-Time Fleet Manager to help maintain and organize our fleet of Amazon delivery vehicles. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented person to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will support the management of our vehicle fleet, coordinate logistics, and ensure smooth road transportation operations. Your expertise in transportation planning, fleet management systems, and communication will help optimize our supply chain processes and enhance customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in logistics and transportation management within a fast-paced environment committed to excellence and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience or strong familiarity with fleet management, transportation planning, or logistics operations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective phone call management, internal communication, and customer service interactions. Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with phone etiquette and internal communication protocols is essential. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles and wants a flexible part-time schedule. Experience with mechanic work, vehicle maintenance, or bodywork is required. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and able to help wherever needed.
Schedule:
- Approximately 20-25 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Ideal morning hours are 7:00 am-11:30 am or 8:00 am-12:00 pm
- Additional hours may be available depending on fleet needs
Pay:
- $23.00 per hour
- Paid every
Friday What You'll Do:
- Complete routine inspections of delivery vehicles
- Identify and report vehicle damage or maintenance concerns
- Assist with basic vehicle repairs and minor maintenance
- Help with minor bodywork and cosmetic repairs
- Keep the fleet lot, vehicle supplies, and work areas clean and organized
- Move vehicles around the lot as needed
- Help transport vehicles to and from repair shops or service appointments
- Track vehicle conditions and help make sure repairs are completed
- Assist the Fleet Manager with other daily fleet needs Why You'll Love Working for

- Must have a valid United States-issued driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Mechanic, automotive maintenance, or bodywork experience is required
- Must be reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in different weather conditions
