High-Energy Event Traffic Attendants

•One Day Only! ($20/hr) Got free time on Friday, October 23rd? Looking to make solid extra cash in just a few hours? We're looking for 8 upbeat, reliable Traffic Control Attendants for a smooth, high-profile event at the luxurious Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT ! If you like staying active outdoors, helping people navigate smoothly, and bringing great energy to event days, this is the perfect quick-turnaround gig for you.

•Greenwich, CT Shifts Available (8 total spots):
Morning Shift:

9:00 AM

•1:00 PM (4 positions — 4 hours)

Extended Shift:

9:00 AM

•3:00 PM (4 positions — 6 hours) What You'll Be Doing Greet arriving guests and event attendees with a friendly, welcoming attitude. Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic to keep incoming and outgoing cars moving safely and smoothly. Assist with clear directional guidance to parking areas and main event entry points. Partner with the event team to ensure a seamless arrival experience for everyone!

Dress Code Requirements Bottoms:

Black khaki pants (must have belt loops; strictly no jeans, leggings, or athletic wear ).

Footwear:

Comfortable tennis shoes/sneakers (you'll be on your feet and moving!).

Belts:

Standard black belt. What We're Looking For Friendly, reliable, and active individuals who thrive in customer-facing roles. Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in traffic control or a related field Experience working in event management or public safety is preferred

Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong communication skills to effectively direct pedestrians and vehicles Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Excellent problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges Familiarity with traffic control equipment and signage Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to work collaboratively with event staff and law enforcement agencies
