Job Description

Job Summary :
The Transportation Manager is responsible for vehicle operations, drivers and the movement of product through the System. Provide a clean, safe, organized warehouse as a clearing hub for product. Responsible for daily scheduling and monitoring driver's activities
Minimum Qualifications :
Education Technical, Trade or Vocational School Degree or 6 years of management experience or 4 years functional experience required Experience Minimum of 3 years prior supervisory experience, preferably in waste, logistics, or transportation Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration CDL Other Knowledge of
FMCSA/ DOT
regulations and compliance Knowledge of proper safety practices Knowledge of minor truck maintenance Ability to drive and train drivers Ability to organize and maintain a safe, orderly warehouse Ability to direct workflow Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of service delivery. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives. Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays Essential Duties Direct Daily activities of truck drivers Participates in daily planning of staffing levels to assure best coverage to move store inventory, salvage, As-Is and trash through our system Responsible for training drivers Meet daily requirements as routed Drive when needed Troubleshoots vehicle problems Maintains required documentation Interviews, hires, prepares employee documentation as appropriate Serves as the liaison between the organization and clients Ensures that staffing, revenue, budgets and financial performance are in accordance with business goals. May be required to travel to other locations on an as-needed basis. Other duties may be assigned

$80,000.00 per year
