Field Supervisor - Traffic Control Division

Job Description

Assist Services has an immediate opening for a Traffic Control Supervisor. You will be responsible for overseeing day to day field operations that include site required requests and responding to field personnel needs. The area the Supervisor will be overseeing is Southwestern PA, Northwestern WV, and South Eastern OH (locality varies by customer). This position will provide a company vehicle, phone, and computer to accomplish duties.
Experience:
2+ year of experience in a Traffic Control or Flagging position is required. Applicants that have knowledge of the oil & gas industry and/or transportation is preferred. All candidates for this position must have at minimum high school diploma. Past supervisory experience is beneficial when applying for this position.
Daily Job Duties to include:
  • Must have excellent organizational skills; knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have good people skills and support the goals of the business
  • Must be willing to work hard and have a team attitude
  • Provide feedback to management team, support & uphold the company discipline outline and assist with implementing coaching techniques within our team
  • Ensure and enforce that Assist teams are demonstrating and obeying State, Federal and local law regulations, as well as Assist Services policies
  • Attend or collect information for the Safety Supervisor regarding any incident that happens in the field
  • Adhere to MUTCD and PUB213 guidelines
  • Coordinate daily job duties against work schedule and crews
  • Field phone calls and be able to respond quickly in a fast paced environment
Required:
Must have a valid Drivers License with clean driving record (NO DUI's or excessive points). All candidates must be able to pass a standard criminal background check and work verification check as well as a standard 10 panel drug screen and fit for duty physical.
