Job Summary Provider 1 Health is seeking a dependable and organized Non-Emergency Ambulance Dispatcher to join our team. The dispatcher will coordinate non-emergency ambulance and medical transportation services, communicate with drivers and facilities, and ensure patients are transported safely and on schedule. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple trips and changing schedules throughout the shift. Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate non-emergency ambulance and medical transportation trips Communicate with ambulance crews, drivers, patients, hospitals, nursing facilities, dialysis centers, and medical offices Assign trips to appropriate vehicles and crews Monitor vehicles, routes, pickups, and drop-offs Handle schedule changes, delays, cancellations, and trip updates Maintain accurate dispatch and transportation records Respond promptly to phone calls and messages Communicate important trip information to field staff Assist with maintaining efficient daily operations Follow Provider 1 Health policies and applicable transportation and safety requirements Qualifications Previous dispatch, transportation, EMS, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computers, phones, and dispatch/scheduling software Ability to remain calm and professional when handling schedule changes or unexpected situations Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule Full-time position Must be available for a flexible schedule Weekends, overnight, and holidays may be required based on operational needs What Provider 1 Health Offers Competitive hourly pay Training provided Opportunity for growth and advancement Professional and supportive work environment Opportunity to be part of a healthcare transportation team serving the community How to Apply If you are organized, dependable, and interested in joining Provider 1 Health , we encourage you to apply today.
