Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate outdoor maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality landscapes that enhance our clients' properties. Duties Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance workers, assigning daily tasks and providing clear instructions to ensure quality workmanship. Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and weed control to maintain beautiful and healthy outdoor spaces. Manage irrigation systems, perform routine repairs, and ensure efficient water usage across multiple sites. Coordinate landscaping projects involving construction elements such as installing new features or renovating existing landscapes. Conduct safety inspections and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress or maintenance schedules. Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies; ensure proper usage and timely repairs to maximize productivity. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture with a focus on supervising teams. Strong knowledge of gardening techniques, tree care, irrigation systems, and general landscape construction. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Familiarity with equipment operation and maintenance including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members clearly and professionally. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods. Prior experience in lawn maintenance is preferred but not required; relevant certifications are a plus.
