In this vital leadership role, you will ensure that all areas meet strict hygiene standards, comply with safety regulations, and promote a safe and healthy environment for staff and visitors alike. Your leadership will drive efficient cleaning operations, supervise janitorial staff, and uphold the highest standards of sanitation across all warehouse zones. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and sanitation activities within the warehouse, including industrial cleaning tasks. Lead, train, and motivate janitorial staff to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are consistently met. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols aligned with industry best practices. Monitor compliance with safety regulations related to custodial work, chemical handling, and equipment use. Conduct regular inspections of all areas to identify sanitation needs, address issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and proper disposal of waste materials. Foster a team-oriented environment through effective management communication and leadership, ensuring staff adherence to policies and procedures. Requirements Proven experience in custodial services, industrial or commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities in a janitorial or sanitation setting. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills necessary for supervising staff and coordinating with other departments. Familiarity with laundry services or hospitality-related cleaning is a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Forklift experience. Biligual perferred.
