Our Engineering team designs, deploys and maintains systems, with innovative and sometimes one-of-a-kind workflows, for projects shot on virtually every camera technology, from 65mm film to the newest file-based 8K systems.

The Whole Bloody Affair, Passion of the Christ, Made, Leprechaun, Sorority Row, Ginger Snaps The Role The Global Distribution Mastering Coordinator is a FotoKem employee, working for Lionsgate in Santa Monica as a part of the Global Distribution Mastering team. This role is critical to ensuring distribution-ready assets meet technical, quality, and delivery standards, and involves close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Responsibilities include asset evaluation, quality control review, rejection investigation and resolution, system updates, vendor coordination, and purchase order and invoice processing. Primary Responsibilities Manage digital file and physical asset trafficking between vendors, validating deliveries while ensuring accurate updates to internal tracking systems. Assist with title, asset, and materials research to support mastering and distribution needs. Investigate asset Rejections through resolution, working across teams and vendors as necessary. Review QC reports and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and required fixes. Create and maintain accurate, detailed records across relevant systems to provide business units with current, service-ready asset information. Generate purchase order requisitions and process vendor invoices, following orders through completion. Additional projects as assigned. Requirements - Experience and skills A minimum of 5 years of mastering, post-production or entertainment-based lab experience. Familiarity with a variety of media formats both physical and file-based, video standards & frame rates (UHD/HD/SD picture files, timed text files, audio elements, etc.). Strong understanding of domestic and international versioning across multiple languages, digital media workflows, processes, materials and techniques. Experience interpreting QC reports and resolving technical rejections. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and efficient, with strong time-management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Bachelor's degree preferred. Foreign language knowledge is a plus. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Familiarity with SAP and purchase order creation Experience with DCP workflows Work Environment & Physical Activities Based at Lionsgate, Santa Monica and occasionally at FotoKem Burbank, CA Dedicated to the Lionsgate team, work closely with the Global Distribution Mastering Department at Lionsgate. Office work setting Requires the ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods, engage in frequent verbal communication, perform light lifting of equipment, use hands for various tasks and maintain active listening throughout the workday.
