Warehouse Distribution Center Duties:

• Pull, pack and ship orders from our warehouse in Simi Valley, Ca
• Use PC based shipping software to ship orders.
• Work with the warehouse team as needed to build orders, label boxes and assemble pallets for shipping.
• Manage inventory of merchandise as well as shipping supplies. Includes cycle counts, plus monitoring of received goods.
• Maintain warehouse organization.
• Quality checks of received merchandise for damaged goods or incorrect quantities.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them accurately
• Coordinate with domestic and international freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments
• Operate various equipment such pallet jacks and forklift
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts

Experience:

• Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role required
• Knowledge of PC based shipping software is required. We utilize USPS, UPS and FedEx shipping services.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus
• Knowledge of distribution center operations is beneficial
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts safely and efficiently
• Proficiency in inventory tracking
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for inventory counting purposes
