Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mail Production Manager to join our fast growing, technologically advanced production team. In this vital role, you will oversee the entire mail production process, ensuring efficient handling, sorting, and distribution of mail and materials. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, maintain high standards of accuracy, and foster a safe working environment. Duties Supervise daily mail production activities, including sorting, processing, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail Operate and oversee the use of automatic inserting machines and other material handling equipment to ensure smooth workflow Coordinate shipment sorting, shipping, and receiving processes with precision and timeliness Manage warehouse operations related to mail distribution, including load & unload tasks and inventory control Ensure proper manual handling techniques are followed during heavy lifting and materials handling tasks to maintain safety standards Utilize Microsoft Office tools for data entry, record keeping, and reporting on mail processing metrics Maintain organization through filing systems, documentation accuracy, and adherence to postal regulations Oversee forklift operation when necessary for warehouse distribution activities Conduct outdoor work as required for yard management or outdoor storage areas Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal stakeholder needs promptly and professionally Qualifications Proven experience in mail Proven experience in warehouse operations or mail distribution environments with a strong understanding of materials handling procedures Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment safely Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and data entry systems Knowledge of shipment sorting, shipping & receiving processes, and mail processing techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper safety practices Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation, and process management Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and external vendors Prior experience with automatic inserting machines or similar mailing equipment is preferred Physical ability to stand, walk, load & unload for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
Up to $85,000.00 per year
