Production SUMMARY The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of timely and accurate shipments to customers and other Company departments. This is an excellent first job after college to grow with an expanding company.

DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to, the following: Assessment of shipping requirements by required ship dates Schedule shipments with Company fleet or outside carriers Compile required shipment(s) by initiating and processing picking tickets for warehouse personnel Coordinate schedules with Customer Service, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics Departments Follow up and process freight claims with outside carriers Compile and present reports for upper management as requested Other duties as required Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have any positions reporting to them. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management preferred Experience in the plastics industry a plus Solid knowledge and understanding of products and processes needed Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners.
