Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island, Georgia, as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. Position Overview Hayward is seeking a hands-on Molding Supervisor to lead our 3rd Shift Flow Control Injection Molding operation in Clemmons, NC. This position is ideal for an experienced injection molding professional who combines strong technical processing knowledge with the ability to lead and develop a production team. The Molding Supervisor will oversee a team of approximately 5 operators and 3 molding technicians while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and—most importantly—safe operating practices are consistently achieved. Because this operation processes materials including PVC and CPVC, strong injection molding and plastics processing knowledge is highly preferred. Schedule 3rd Shift - approximately 10:30 PM-6:30 AM, Monday through Friday Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop 3rd-shift injection molding operators and technicians. Ensure daily production targets are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards. Provide hands-on support to injection molding operations, including responding to process or equipment issues as needed. Promote safe handling and processing of molding materials, particularly PVC and CPVC. Monitor molding processes, machine performance, product quality, scrap, and production output. Support troubleshooting and timely response to machine/process interruptions. Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and other departments to resolve production issues. Maintain appropriate staffing and cross-training to support changing production requirements. Drive continuous improvement related to safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. Support resin inventory, material management, housekeeping, and other operational requirements occurring during 3rd shift. Ensure accurate timekeeping and employee records and support performance management and employee relations. Utilize ERP/MES and other computer systems to document and manage production activity. Reinforce Hayward's safety expectations and proactively identify and address potential hazards.
