Our client, a plastics manufacturing company, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Clifton, NJ. In this role, you will oversee all shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations while leading a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations including accurate part weighing, packaging, and labeling Oversee daily inventory control and cycle counting activities with a goal of maintaining greater than 98% accuracy Maintain ERP system accuracy for all material transactions Ship and receive outsourcing jobs for secondary processing including plating, coating, heat treating, and ultrasonic cleaning while ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications Schedule, coordinate, and track all outbound and inbound shipments to meet customer delivery dates and job priorities Transact, blend, reconcile, and deliver materials to the factory floor in a timely manner in accordance with production needs Coordinate with purchasing and planning to align material movements with schedules and job priorities Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant delivery Handle shipping and documentation of regulated products in the defense and controlled goods space ensuring full compliance with ITAR, EAR, and other applicable regulations Maintain shipping records, logs, and compliance files in accordance with audit and regulatory requirements Lead, train, and develop a team of 1-5 members with clear performance expectations and a continuous improvement focus
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred 2-4 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment Experience supervising 1-5 employees in a fast-paced logistics or warehouse setting Proficiency in ERP systems for inventory and part tracking management Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and regulated product shipping compliance preferred Ability to work hands-on in a warehouse and manufacturing environment and enforce safety policies

Salary:
$70,000 - $93,000 per year (based on experience)
