Responsibilities:
Traffic management including negotiations with carriers and coordination of receiving and shipping of goods Organization of clients', suppliers' and subcontractors' transportation Management with suppliers' non- conformance if any Actively track weekly results and implement actions to drive needed improvement. Participate in business process improvement projects The Logistics Coordinator is primarily responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments as well as scheduling pickups for our clients. Kit together client supply orders, ship packages via preferred Ship Manager and log all appropriate shipping information. Confirm all over the road shipments have confirmed delivery appointments with the warehouse. Update operating system with incoming PO's, received PO's, and most recent communication with suppliers. Notify each portfolio with inbound notifications, shortages, or discrepancies on receipts. Communicate clearly with the warehouses regarding repacking of items, moving goods from one SKU to another, destruction of inventory and other project-based requests. Follow up on pending requests sent to warehouse. Check consolidator portal and follow up on pending pickups, issues that may be holding up orders and communicate with portfolio manages and suppliers to resolve. Communicate with carriers regarding ETA's and Update Highjump (WMS system) with most up to date shipping information. Stay on top of emails and respond in timely manner.
Qualifications :
1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in logistics or supply chain Proven working experience in logistics and warehouse management Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business administration or equivalent education and training Intermediate - Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access Communication, Communication. Communication with inside and outside customers Great autonomy and accountability: Knowledge of Highjump is a plus Organized, detail oriented with excellent communication skills. Must be able to efficiently and comfortably maneuver between multiple applications. Ability to multitask and problem solve independently. Logistics experience is a plus
